In March 2020, a virus which was a world away, became a scary reality in the United States.
Predictions of the demise of many businesses and industries ran rampant. Among the hardest hit was the travel industry; an industry that Brianne Bloom became a part of the month prior.
She initially felt uneasy, but found out in short order that Fox World Travel had no intention of succumbing to this pandemic. The agency had survived the fallout from 9/11, the recession of 2008/2009 and even a tornado which ripped the roof off its headquarters in 2001.
Bloom will share the creative, innovative measures that Fox World Travel implemented to not only survive the pandemic, but thrive in the aftermath, by demonstrating to the traveling public the value of a travel professional.
She will do so Thursday, April 21 at Roadhouse Pizza, 102 Watson St., during the Ripon/Green Lake Chapter of Professional Women’s Connection monthly program.
Bloom joined Fox World Travel as the director of vacation travel in February 2022, just weeks before the COVID 19 virus shut down travel and tourism.
She attended University of Wisconsin –Green Bay and brings 10-plus years of sales, customer service, retail management and associate leadership skills to Fox. She always enjoyed travel, but made the move to Fox World Travel because of the “Fox culture.”
In college, Bloom minored in Spanish and is looking forward to using her linguistic skills to assist in translations and communications as Fox becomes a global player in the travel world.
She loves trips to all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean, where she can eat great food to her heart’s content. Bloom also enjoys travel that involves adventure or history.
