Few teams have been decimated by injuries as much as the Pacers have been, and they’ll enter Wednesday’s game vs. the Hornets without their three best players. Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles), Domantas Sabonis (ankle) and Myles Turner (foot) are all out, leaving Indiana with a depleted roster. But one player who has stepped up at the center position with Turner being out is Goga Bitadze. With averages of 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists over his last three games, the third-year player has returned solid value for NBA DFS lineups.
With price tags of $6,500 on DraftKings and $5,500 on FanDuel, Bitadze isn’t even among the 15 most expensive centers on either site. Thus, rostering him will then allow you to splurge on pricier options in the NBA DFS player pool, such as LaMelo Ball or Miles Bridges on the other side. But, before finalizing your NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

On Tuesday, McClure included Pelicans center Willy Hernangomez as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Hernangomez dropped a career-high of 29 points to go along with 10 rebounds, returning 46 points on DraftKings and 43.5 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.
Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Wednesday, January 26, NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.
Top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, January 26
One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday is Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan, who is listed at $8,200 on DraftKings and $9,000 on FanDuel. DeRozan (load management) sat out Monday’s game, but in his previous game he had one of his best games in a Bulls uniform. DeRozan dropped a season-high of 41 points versus Orlando on Sunday to go along with five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
DeRozan isn’t even listed on Wednesday’s injury report and he gets to face the team that drafted him in the Toronto Raptors. He dropped 26 points with five boards and six assists vs. Toronto in October, and those numbers are almost identical to his season averages. With Chicago missing Lonzo Ball (knee) for Wednesday, DeRozan should take on more playmaking opportunities, but he should be able to maintain his high scoring rate while also increasing his assists.
Another key in McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Spurs guard Derrick White ($5,900 on DraftKings and $6,900 on FanDuel). White and San Antonio take on the Grizzlies tonight and White had 15 points, nine assists and two blocks when he last faced Memphis on Christmas Eve. The fifth-year guard is averaging 14.2 points and 3.5 rebounds this year, along with career-highs of 5.6 assists and 1.1 steals.
San Antonio played last night but White is one of the rare players who seems to play better on limited rest. He’s played on the second night of a back-to-back seven times and is averaging 19.3 points and 7.4 assists in those games, averages well above his season numbers. He should exploit a Grizzlies team that allowed two-guard Will Barton to score 27 points on Friday, which is just three points off his season-high.
