When Jolene Leon, Atascosa County Coordinator for Community Council of South Central Texas, reached out in search of a caterer for their end-of-year Christmas meeting, she was beyond blessed.
She received a phone call from Junior Bosquez of Bosquez Automotive who asked about the event and what they were planning to spend. Leon explained not much, as CCSCT is a nonprofit organization.
Bosquez called a few minutes later and told Leon, “Don’t worry about it. We’ve got you covered.”
Bosquez Automotive, Smokin Bros BBQ, Classified Towing and No Good Auto Spa teamed up to sponsor CCSCT’s meal at no cost. Even the paper goods and drinks were sponsored.
CCSCT held their meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the Pleasanton Civic Center with county coordinators representing the client services department for CCSCT. They represented Atascosa County and the other counties CCSCT serves.
Leon sends a big thank you to those who sponsored the event and their delicious lunch.

“It was a fast, quick, easy yes from the people that are in our community,” said Leon. “Without hesitation, it was an unbelievable response that was greatly appreciated. We just appreciate the people that either donate their time, money or helping hands. That is what we do and for someone to give back to us is appreciated.”
