Janie Rodriguez, age 67, passed peacefully on December 11, 2021, in Marysville, CA. Janie was a wonderful woman loved by many, missed by all and who will be cherished always. Janie’s story began in Laredo, Texas, on January 13, 1954, the eldest daughter of Mario and Herminia Almendarez. She was a resident of Yuba County for over 40 years.
Janie leaves behind her mother, Herminia; her husband, Benito; her children, Felina and Frank Ordaz, Enrique Rodriguez, Yvette and Adrian Inguanzo, Danyel and Trenton Patchin; her grandchildren, Brigitte, Victoria, Rhea, Ariana, Izaiah, Xzavier, and Chloe; and her great-grandson, Emmett; as well as her siblings, Mario, Mary, Guadalupe, Norma, Abel, Alberna, and Patricia.
Janie has welcomed and opened her home to many and has touched so many hearts. Her door was always open and you always felt like family. She always shared her words of wisdom whether you agreed with her or not. She had a love for classic movies, John Wayne westerns, and country music, especially by George Strait. Janie was known for her delicious cooking, her family traditions, and her love for family. She has left us all with many memories to cherish.
Viewing will take place on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 pm, at Lipp and Sullivan, 629 D Street, in Marysville, CA. Burial services will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Sierra View Memorial Park at 4900 Olive Ave., in Olivehurst, CA.
