STOCKTON — An Erie man is facing charges in connection with an accident two weeks ago.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported this weekend the incident occurred at 7:40 p.m. Dec. 6 when they responded to a reported two-vehicle property damage accident. The driver of one vehicle was found to be 63-year-old Jeffrey L. Riley. Upon investigation at the scene, it was alleged that Riley was found to be driving while intoxicated after failing field sobriety tests.
Riley was charged with DWI, DWI per se and failure to yield right of way at a stop sign. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released to appear in the Town court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
State Police at Fredonia responded to a one-vehicle accident at 10:45 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 86 in Ellicott in which a Buffalo man was involved in a property damage accident near Exit 12. There were no charges reported.
Troopers from Fredonia responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident on Route 60 near Bard Road around 4:25 p.m. Wednesday. A woman from Celoron and another from Lily Dale were involved in the accident. There were no reports of charges or injuries.
Fredonia troopers responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident at 7:41 p.m. Saturday on Bennett Road at Vineyard Drive in the town of Dunkirk. A Dunkirk woman and Angola man were involved in the mishap. There were no injuries or charges reported.
